"Nürnberger Versicherung" at the Nuremberg airport

The "Nürnberger Versicherung" logo, the distinctive N with the Nuremberg Castle's silhouette was made of high-grade steel, with a diameter of 4,5 m.
Anyhow the slice weighs about 1,5 tons. Held from above and from below by big ball-bearings, it is rotated by a powerful electro motor, in order to make the logo also visible from the airfield.
Powerful blue channel letters are the insurance company's signature, which is thanks to size and illumination well visible even from far away.
