Backlit sky sails

The relaxed atmosphere of a July afternoon was caught by the 8 m long sky sails and brought into a presentation atrium in Pirmasens. Layers of printed vinyl canvas were applied on floating stored aluminium frameworks and backlit by dimmable fluorescent lamps, in order to adjust the light intensity depending upon desire.
